Acceptance

Acceptance
is receiving as being true, tolerating or agreeing to. It relates to the need to apply other personal values and living with events and incidents that have already happened. The challenge is admitting you are what you are, warts and all and being happy with yourself, putting the past behind you and living in the present, shaping it to your wishes.

Using acceptance in daily life is behaving in a way that uses other values and being aware of this and being happy to do it. Accepting is not reacting with anger or disbelief, but responding positively and unconditionally. For example, when you are driving a car and another driver causes you to brake sharply it is accepting the event without anger, having positive not negative thoughts.
